Charlotte’s Lupine Field

$1,100.00

Charlotte planted daffodils, lupine and wildflowers and had a natural lawn, evolving in bloom from spring through fall. Last summer (2023) she was staying with family due to her declining health. I went up to her house (just up the hill from mine) and painted her lupine in June over several days. Shortly afterward I learned that she died.

Charlotte’s legacy of flowers continue to bloom throughout this valley, and I’m grateful to have known her. Rest in peace, Charlotte.

This piece was started en plein air and finished in the studio.
