Twilight Path
$950.00
In the summer and fall of 2020 we walked up a rustic path to bonfires on the hilltop.
Our friend Randy parked a camper there and it was home to many of returned traveler in quarantine that year. It was also the spot of music and connection in that lonely time of lockdown. I found an image I photographed at dusk on a September evening in 2020 and was inspired to make this painting in response. I love the light and contrast of those trees against the twilit sky and the hint of that fire—burning up there—beckoning us to come and sing.
