Music and Social Distance
$2,100.00
June 2020, deep in lockdown, four international students from India and China—stranded in NYC—found refuge in our tiny Vermont community. They studied from a farmhouse down the road, and when it was finally time to return home, we threw a farewell gathering under the open sky.
They cooked for us. Then they sang. And soon we were all singing—voices and instruments rising together into the soft twilight. This piece is a tribute to that night: a moment of music, connection, and unexpected community.
