Narrow streets, sunshine, music, vibrant outdoor cafes. April in Barcelona!
Out to the end of Barceloneta, we take off our shoes and test the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Cold, of course, but exhilarating, too.
There are holes to dig and lots of seaglass to find. There is sitting to do. Pigeons and seagulls mix. This is the sea. But also the city.
Love Barcelona. We were there in October.
So glad you’re enjoying that neighborhood, one of my favorites! We (and Mogi and the chickens and the daffodils) miss you all!! xoxo

Never been, but have always wanted to! Looks lovely!
You’ve got to go to Ivo & Co. Best shop. Can’t believe you are so close and I’m not seeing you. Until this summer!

Lovely snaps. I am visiting Barcelona this May, do you have some suggestions?
I hope you love Barcelona as much as I have. We get home on the 27th and I’ll email you lots of ideas when I can write at a computer and include links. Do you know the neighborhood where you are staying?
No. We are yet to decide on that. Suggestions for that are also welcome. Looking forward to your response 🙂
Lots of holes to dig?
where there is sand, there will be holes!!
Q. Why did the chicken cross the road? A. To dig a hole in the sand at the beach.
We have to visit Barcelona, it looks so nice. I especially like the narrow streets and the architecture. It’s definitely worth a visit and is on the top of our “city trip list”. xo
