After the floods this summer we had a spate of glorious days.
In my sorrow I went off to look at the rivers and how they had changed. The fields, and how they had changed. Near Woodstock, below Billings Farm is a gentle bend in the river. The fields looked like autumn. It was a terrible beauty.
