An early summer evening after heavy rain. The perfect night for vows to be shared, poems read, music heard.
The scene: a renovated barn and its lush wooded grounds in rural Lancaster, Pennsylvania. The wedding cake was whoopie pies. The feast specialized in vegetarian fare. The musicians were a 5 piece brass combo followed by a jazz trio. The guests came from England, Brooklyn, far western Canada, Vermont, and many parts of Pennsylvania.
And the bride was ravishing in her one-of-a-kind dress, if I do say so myself.
Wishing you many years of happiness, Deborah and Daryl!
