The memory of Bud, a gentle, kind neighbor, is strong in this village. His sons and daughters and their families live within walking distance. The barn will bear his name for years to come even though he died a while ago.
I love this barn and paint it often as seasons change. This was from a particularly fantastic summer evening. The kind when it feels like the sun may never set.
